III.Battery Pack Air Tightness Testing Methods and Principles

1. Pressure decay method:Also called the pressure drop method, the current mainstream gas tightness testing method. When testing, the battery pack is filled with gas at a certain pressure, and then the change in air pressure is observed. If the gas pressure drops, it indicates that the battery pack is leaking.

2. Helium Leak Detection: also called helium detection method, the current mainstream airtightness testing method.Helium is injected into the battery pack and a helium detector detects the presence of helium leaks inside the battery pack.

3.
